July 9, 7 p.m.
Town of Ulster - Town Hall
Zena Development LLC has not been on the Town of Ulster Planning Board agenda since April 9, but the developers will be back before the board next Tuesday. Multiple media outlets, including The Daily Freeman and Hudson Valley One (page A11), reported town officials and the developers are openly discussing next week's meeting.
The July 9 meeting will not be a public hearing, so no public comments will be sought. In fact, attendees must remain silent throughout the proceedings and refrain from holding any signs or otherwise disrupting the meeting, according to the town's rules.
As we mentioned earlier this week, there is an expectation that the developers will need to provide the Town of Ulster with a revised proposal to address several issues, including a letter the Town of Woodstock's Building Inspector issued detailing approvals required for extending Eastwoods Drive. There's still no new documents posted on the Town of Ulster website under the "large scale proposed projects" heading, so there's no new information regarding Eastwoods Drive or any other part of the housing development.
We hope you can join us Tuesday evening as we'd like a packed room full of respectful, quiet citizens advocating for the forest and against this development. Our presence will continue to speak volumes.
